I have always loved science and specifically the study of life! I finished my bachelor's degree in Biology at Weber State University and a Masters degree in Biology at Clemson University.

I LOVE teaching and am thrilled to be at NUAMES! I enjoy the challenges that teaching brings. I especially enjoy the energy my students bring to the classroom. I believe that science is for everyone and want my students to be engaged and successful.

I love animals of all kinds and have many pets of my own, including; lizards, turtles, snakes, fish, dogs and cats. I spend much of my free time outdoors with my husband and four sons. We hike, swim, jeep, and snowboard. I love music, dancing and food, all kinds of food!
