Zoology

Welcome to Zoology

In this class we will focus our attention on the study of animals, their behavior, physiology and evolution, as well as their interactions with each other and their environment. Zoologists study how animals evolved and the impact of environmental change on their survival. During this course we will highlight three major categories associated with the study of animals.

  1. The evolutionary relationships between different animals
  2. The structures in animals occur as a result of necessary functions
  3. Interactions of animals in an environment are determined by the biotic and abiotic components of the environment
